Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Certified Medical Assistant***.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 7:45AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, located in Virginia Beach, VA (23456).Responsibilities:A Day in the life of a Certified Medical Assistant:As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) you will be responsible for taking vitals, rooming patients, bedside assist, documenting chief complaint, updating medications, documentation in the EMR, calling in prescription refills, and other duties as assigned by clinic manager.Requirements for the Certified Medical Assistant:
- Required: 1 year of paid experience working as a medical assistant
- Required: Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) (CCMA) or (RMA)
- Required: BLS/CPR
- Required: Must be on-time and have excellent customer service skills
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the CMA:
- Preferred: Gastroenterology experience preferred
- Preferred: EMR experience preferred
Benefits:
- $17.00-$20.00 an hour (depending on experience level)
