3.5t driver with towingExciting Opportunity: Join Us as a 3.5t driver with towing at Rawley Plant!Rawley Plant, a trusted name in portable site accommodation since 1961, has recently joined forces with The Wernick Group, a family-run business founded in 1934. We’re looking for an energetic and hands-on Driver to join us on a permanent basis. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same! You’ll hit the road in our 3.5t delivery and collection vehicles, as well as towing Groundhogs/welfare units to and from customer sites.About the roleKey Responsibilities:Driver: Step in as a driver for the delivery and collection of hire equipment, operating vehicles up to 3.5t, including towing mobile welfare units.Loading and Unloading: Help with the loading and unloading of vehicles, both manually and using a forklift.Skills and Experience:Clean Driving License: You must hold a clean UK driving license with the ability to drive vehicles up to 3.5tDriver CPC Qualification: A valid Driver CPC qualification and card are essential. - DIY Skills: Good basic DIY skills are required, especially for minor repairs and maintenance of portable units.
- Fit and Active: You’ll need to be physically fit and active to handle the demands of the role, including manual work and vehicle operation.
- Local Area Knowledge: Familiarity with the local Basildon area, including London, would be beneficial for route planning.
- Towing Requirement: Holding a B+E entitlement (for towing) is essential, as you’ll be required to tow mobile welfare units on a 3.5t vehicle as part of your duties.
- Clean Driving License: You must hold a clean UK driving license with the ability to drive vehicles up to 3.5t GVW.
