We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician role on a 12-hour day shift (rotating 2-2-3 schedule). Compensation for this direct hire opportunities is $24.50 per hour. Interested? This leading manufacturing company, located in Cold Spring, MN, has been producing award-winning beverages since 1874. This position oversees the maintenance of all plant processes in their assigned area of responsibility and maintains high levels of safety, quality, and productivity.What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Operate and maintain assigned equipment to ensure it works properly and as efficiently as possible
- Evaluate the improvement of processes in the area of responsibility, and work to minimize the change over time
- Oversee all record keeping and perform all tests as required
- Maintain spare parts inventory and notify the manager when running low
- Maintain appropriate sanitation records, and keep track of what chemicals are used and in what concentration
What you will need to be a Maintenance Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of maintenance experience in a production environment
- Strong mechanical background, including thorough knowledge in the areas of maintenance, plumbing, electrical, welding, heating, and refrigeration
- Must be goal-oriented and be able to work independently
- Thorough knowledge of production operations, including all safety requirements
