Sales Development Representative (SDR)Meritt are hiring for our client who is a pioneering SaaS provider transforming the way companies hire and manage engineering talent. - Generating leads through outbound outreach
- Researching and building strategic prospect lists
- Conducting outreach primarily through cold calling, with additional email and social selling campaigns
- Acting as the first point of contact for potential clients
- Managing CRM updates with attention to detail and accuracy
- Scheduling discovery calls for account executives
- Overcoming objections and refining the pitch and outreach methods through feedback and analysis
- Continuously learning and developing sales skills and techniques
This role offers the opportunity to work for a well-established company with a fantastic product, strong market presence, and extensive support through resources, case studies, and reviews.What We’re Looking For
- 12–18 months of outbound sales experience, ideally as an SDR or BDR in the SaaS space
- Expertise in cold calling, with confidence handling objections and engaging prospects
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- A strong desire to learn, develop, and put in the work to achieve goals
- Resilience and curiosity as key traits to succeed and thrive in this role
- Nice to have: Experience calling or selling to talent acquisition or HR leaders
What You’ll Get
- A competitive base salary of £30,000–£38,000, with an uncapped commission structure offering £15,000–£20,000 in achievable earnings at target
