This role is to replace a Partner who has decided to not return following maternity leave. The department stands at a team of 5.The firm launched their media department 6 years ago upon hiring a heavy-hitting Media Partner. Since the launch they have gone from strength to strength dealing with interesting work.You will work alongside the other Partners to drive the department. You will oversee the work of juniors and will play an active role in training, mentoring and career development.The department deals with a mix of both contentious and non-contentious work – as such the Head of Department is open to candidates from either side that may complement the department. The Media and Entertainment department is currently thriving and busy.You will work with a broad client base spanning; actors, producers, writers, directors, games creators, content creators and influencers, models, musicians and publishers. The work the department does includes; sponsorship agreements, film financing, reputation management, endorsements and merchandising, contracts, licensing and breach of contract.You will work as part of a dynamic, friendly and heavy hitting team who are all very passionate about media law.You should be a Media and Entertainment Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE +Salary is competitive and negotiable and depend on your background and level of experience, you will also receive a good benefits package.You should be someone who is confident to go out and develop new business relationshipsApply now for this Media and Entertainment Partner role, based in the heart of the West End close to Green Park.
