Inspire your teammates to always be better.Please note that Sorare is a hybrid work company; employees are required to be in office 3 days a week.We are looking for a dynamic and proactive People Operations Manager to streamline and enhance our HR processes while ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a positive employee experience. In this role, you will oversee the daily HR operations for our 120 employees across France and the U.S., managing HR administration, payroll, HR tools, and back-office functions. You will work closely with our People & Talent Partner to drive efficiency and support our growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the HR function within a fast-paced, international, and evolving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Ops and AdministrationOversee and optimize HR administrative processes including onboarding/offboarding, leave management, employee data updates, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.Ensure smooth and seamless collaboration with external payroll providers and our finance team in both France and the US.Maintain and update HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, Lattice), ensuring data integrity, compliance, and system optimization.Employee Support, Compliance, and Cross Functional Collaboration.Serve as the trusted and reliable point of contact for employees on different matters, including payroll, leaves of absence, HR policies, tools management, providing clear guidance and support.Lead compliance efforts by continuously monitoring legal and regulatory requirements, and keeping processes, documentation and templates up to date in every aspect.Ensure full legal compliance regarding France & US, managing obligations such as DUERP, Gender Equality Index, employee records, BDESE, Occupational medicine, etc)Partner with finance and legal teams to ensure smooth alignment of HR operations with overall business objectives.Data and Reporting.Prepare reports and analyze key HR metrics to track important data such as payroll analysis, workforce distribution, attrition, etc.) to support data-driven decision-making.Strive for excellence by continuously improving processes for both the People team and employees.What We’re Looking ForExperience: 5+ years in HR, with a strong foundation in HR operations and payroll. Experience in a tech company is a plus.HR Knowledge: In-depth understanding of French HR administration, payroll processes, employment laws, and compliance. US regulations would be a +.Project Management: Proven ability to lead or contribute to HR-related projects, balancing attention to detail with strategic thinking. Ability to create efficient, user-friendly processes.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.Data Driven: Strong analytical skills to track HR metrics and support strategic decision-making.
