Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian:
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals to assess health.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of animals.
- Administer medications and treatments as needed for various conditions.
- Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia during procedures.
- Educate and communicate with clients about their pets’ health and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas.
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian (new graduates will be considered).
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make sound medical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
