An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team in the Eye Short Stay within the Eye Unit at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). Eye Short Stay Unit is part of the regional referral centre for Ophthalmology and it is fast paced environment that relies on team working and excellent interpersonal skills. You will join a team of highly skilled and experienced nurses where the work is varied and immensely satisfying, caring for patients who have various levels and causes of visual impairment. The unit offers services for inpatients, day surgeries and eye casualty at night. The unit is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers an out of hours eye casualty service.
