Work Term & Compensation:

The Human Services Summer Student position will provide experience in administrative and customer service functions within Human Services Department.Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and front-line support
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as data entry, records management, and documentation processing
  • Organizing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintaining office supplies and coordinating service requests
  • Supporting staff with file transfers, records retention, and compliance with policies
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as data entry, records/financial management, and documentation processing
  • Responding to client inquires and supporting with system navigation
  • Assisting with coordination of activities or events
  • Assisting with data collection and research
  • Providing supports to case management teams

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a full-time post-secondary education, with enrollment in a Social Services program considered an asset, and planning to return to or begin full-time studies in September 2025
  • Available to work from May 5 to August 29, 2025
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
