Job Description

We’re looking for a team player who is interested in learning and creating strong content for social/digital media.

You will be supporting Search Sri Lanka’s impactful work and work closely with leading development professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage social media pages Create content based on content plans Provide creative input/ campaign design Travel into the field when needed

Qualifications:

Payment:

The JCC will be paid upon submission of the monthly task report.

Skills and Abilities:

Compulsory Competencies Include:

Working to schedule and task/time management.
Graphic designing skills to produce content for social media.
A good command of English and one other local language (either Sinhala or Tamil.)
A basic understanding of digital marketing and how to run advertisements.
Ability to travel with project teams and cover field activities.
Attend and cover Search events when needed.
A team player who can collaborate with diverse people.

Additional Competencies:

Photography / videography is an added advantage
Previous experience/knowledge of non violent communications is an added advantage
Knowledge on peacebuilding is an advantage
A third local language is an advantage
