This role is within the TGI and Insight team in the UK, with responsibility for managing and growing revenue and EBITDA from a portfolio of media owner TGI subscribers – the industry currency for media owners and agencies. With a strong portfolio of data and insight solutions, Kantar Media TGI is amongst the most successful and reputable media research businesses in the UK.We are looking for an exceptional Account Consultant who shares our passion for media, advertising and commercial insight and the impact it has on our clients’ creative and commercial success. As an Account Consultant, you will be responsible for partnering with our top tier clients to drive the growth of both our subscription and custom insight business for your demand side portfolio.The role reports to an Account Director within the Media Division, UK & EMEA.Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized TGI client accounts.
  • Deliver first-class account management to retain and grow TGI revenue.
  • Build relationships with clients by knowing, networking, and nurturing.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver expert advice and guidance on the use of data for audience targeting and planning – Build trusted advisor relationships with your clients so you’re their first call when they need consumer and media intelligence.
  • Present and run exploratory reviews and training sessions with clients to improve understanding of Kantar’s data and services.
  • Negotiate contracts at a senior level – renewing data, insight, digital activation, and software agreements.
  • Spot opportunities and upsell to new divisions / teams within existing clients.
  • Work with other parts of Kantar to identify collaboration opportunities which elevate our client solutions for a seamless Kantar experience.
  • Produce winning proposals (tender responses)
  • Build, maintain, implement and monitor the effectiveness of a business development plan for your portfolio
  • Monitor and analyse client revenues – including profit margins.
  • Maintain relationships with relevant industry bodies, partners, and media outlets, creating and leveraging commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and other records of client interaction.
  • The passion to win: to ensure that clients choose Kantar Media ahead of the competition.
  • You will receive regular product and skills training and will be expected to meet financial and KPI targets.
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales revenue targets
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual revenue recognition targets
  • Contract retention rate and account growth.

Required:

  • Excellent client and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of the media and advertising landscapes
  • Confident personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in presenting to a range of audiences.
  • Able to analyse & interpret data and find “stories”.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Knowledge of or experience using research data
  • Digital literacy, a solid understanding of the digital media eco-system and the roles different data plays.
  • Negotiation experience with the ability to focus hitting/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Insight storytelling, with knowledge or experience of using consumer insight data.
