They are intuitive above all else, able to decode the nuances of working with clients and the role of account management in a creative, business solution-oriented, high-pressure context.A motivated learner and strategic thinker with a can-do attitude, the Account Executive is interested in and informed on the latest cultural and digital trends and can apply their growing knowledge and skills to content strategy. They are an exceptional communicator who can deliver error-free work, participate in direct client communications and support their team members, all while tracking each project’s progress. In short, they “make it all happen” for clients and their colleagues.The Account Executive is responsible for upholding the highest standards and setting the tone for the overall experience of working with SJR.Please note: You need to have the right to work in the UK as unfortunately we don’t sponsor visas. We work on a hybrid model with typically Tues, Wed and Thursday in the office with extra flex needed on occasion to work on Monday and Fridays from the office when required.ResponsibilitiesAccount Coordination (70%)
- Schedules, organises, attends and participates in weekly team/client status meetings
- Comes to meetings equipped with updates and ideas as per the agenda, takes notes and distributes them immediately to SJR team and client, when necessary
- Organises contact reports and action items; packages into deliverables for clients and internal teams
- Owns client status trackers for assigned accounts; maintains project timelines
- Creates and inputs basic client briefs and is responsible for continuously updating key information into a project management application (e.g., com) for ongoing tracking and action
- Formats content deliverables, presentations, memos, POV documents,
- Supports client growth and expansion opportunities through research, creating decks and assisting with presentations
- Supports smooth operation of SJR’s finance by submitting accurate and timely documents, which include invoices, SOWs, estimates, vendor setup,
- Stays on top of digital and social trends, competitor analysis and industry news for assigned client(s)
- Creates briefs for creative and production teams, collates key information and feedback into a web-based project management application (e.g., com) for ongoing tracking and action.
Creative + Editorial (20%)
- Research content topics or communication opportunities to provide insight to the client and creative teams
- Participates in creative ideation, brainstorming and concept development
- Supports production by supporting the production and creative teams to organize on-site shoot logistics and attend shoots if required
- Coordinates with suppliers on production, ensuring deliverables are received on time and shared internally
- Manages the acquisition of stock images and footage, voiceovers and music, working with the production team to ensure clients have the correct licenses to utilise content assets as required
- Provides thoughtful feedback on production videos, graphics and other production outputs
- Ensures assets are formatted for the planned distribution platforms
Growth + Business Development (10%)
- Is an active part of the business development function, identifying potential opportunities for organic growth within existing clients
- Participates in pitch development and presentations as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of one-years’ experience working in a creative environment, ideally agency based
- Ambitious with a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Outstanding verbal and written skills — ability to deliver written materials error-free, grammatically correct and on time
- Proven ability to be meticulous and organised
- Excellent time management and project coordination skills to support multiple work streams and ensure delivery of high-quality work to tight deadlines
- Ability to listen effectively, document proceedings accurately and drive and support ongoing dialogue
- Ability to work both independently as well as under close direction within a team
- Ability to connect and collaborate with a wide variety of people (an interdisciplinary team)
- Flexible, adaptable and responsive when quick turnarounds are required
- Strong research skills
- Experience using collaborative team communication and project management applications (e.g.,com and Teams) is preferable
- Good-advanced level use of Microsoft Office application
