Backed by world-class investors, we are on track to be one of the few cash flow positive, tech-enabled unicorns based out of Singapore.Mission:As an Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting services to our clients. This position is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience, preferably within practice, looking to deepen their expertise and take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment. You’ll collaborate with a team of experienced accountants, managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring financial accuracy.Outcomes:

  • Deliver timely and precise financial statements, management reports, and tax filings for a portfolio of SME clients.
  • Ensure VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and other statutory filings are completed accurately and in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain and oversee bookkeeping processes using cloud-based systems (Xero, QuickBooks), ensuring all financial records are up to date.
  • As part of preparing the annual statutory accounts and management accounts for your clients you will need to execute closing tasks, including reconciliations and variance analysis, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide proactive client support, assisting with transitions to cloud accounting systems and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the accounting team.

Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA/ICAEW partially qualified with supplementary experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Client and Cloud Accounting, or partially qualified with additional years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, corporation tax compliance and VAT processes and regulations
  • Proficient in Accounting Software: Quickbook, Xero, Excel etc.
  • Working in a fast growing start up and with a large portfolio of SME Clientele would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of Payroll and Personal Tax would be advantageous.
