This is an in-person position, reporting directly to the Controller. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our accounting operations. You’ll bring your expertise (and must haves) in QuickBooks Desktop, ADP Workforce, and Beanworks AP. These tools are key to our processes, and your proficiency with them will set you up for success. Bonus items that motivate and set us apart: • Confidential hiring process • Competitive wages • Medical benefits • Paid vacay • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Responsibilities: • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce • Prepare and remit union dues • Reconcile and resolve payroll questions • Coding AP Invoices and submitting for approval to the purchaser • Processing cheque runs and EFT payments (full cycle AP) • Maintain vendor files and records including reconciling vendor accounts and statements • Reconcile corporate credit cards • File GST and PST • Monthly bank reconciliation including posting journal entries • Preparing job cost reports and other ad-hoc reporting as required • Other accounting duties as may be reasonably required to benefit the company and/or as requested by Management Qualifications: • Prior accounting experience necessary • Must have strong Microsoft Office 365 capabilities, especially Excel and other computer skills • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Able to follow direction well • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Quick learner, with ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize About Company: An innovative solutions provider dedicated to matching top Assistants with top producing professionals.
