As part of our Finance team, you’ll gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced environment, providing you with a strong foundation to develop your skills and knowledge.Reporting to the Finance Operations Team Leader, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a real eagerness to learn. You’ll be responsible for managing purchasing invoices, supplier statements, and external supplier relations as well as resolving queries.What your day-to-day might look like:Processing invoices and credit notes onto the Netsuite system accurately and in a timely mannerCommunicating with both external and internal stakeholders, following up on any queries or discrepancies in a timely mannerManagement of the purchase ledger, ensuring all balances held are correct and allocated where applicableRecognising stock and non-stock costs in the month they occurred, by means of posting invoices and recording of accrued costs on shared spreadsheetReviewing non-stock purchase requisitions in the Tipalti systemPerforming supplier statement reconciliations, confirming all balances on internal system match supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely mannerLiaising directly with suppliers and internal purchasing team to resolve any invoice queries, pricing differences and invoice paymentsSetting up new supplier accounts in the system as requiredEnsuring correct controls and procedures are followed for all company purchases, including those by credit cardWorking closely with other members of the Accounts Payable team to meet the month-end deadlinesInvestigating and resolving outstanding creditor itemsEnsuring the use of correct VAT rates and numbers when processing invoicesCompleting ad hoc duties required by the companyAbout you:At least 2 years accounts experience is desirable, preferably within an accounts payable functionAble to work accurately and efficiently to tight deadlinesExceptionally organised with an eye for detailKnowledge of Excel and accounting systemsSelf-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independentlyA good verbal and written communicator to all stakeholders internal and external to the businessWhat do we offer?Monthly Bulk Benefits Allowance including a subsidised gym membershipA day off to celebrate your BirthdayPerkBox Subscription60% discount on all productsTeammate Pension SchemeLife AssuranceMedicashA day off for Volunteering (optional)Cycle to Work SchemeEnhanced Maternity & Paternity leaveSummer working hoursFree PantryInterested?
