Compensation: 70KAbout the Opportunity
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established real estate investment and asset management firm. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their dynamic and growing team. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, including processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the finance team with various ad-hoc tasks.Key Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices monthly, ensuring all deadlines and cut-off procedures are adhered to.
• Prepare and process semi-monthly vendor payments, including intercompany transfers, wires, EFTs, and cheques.
• Manage multiple accounts payable email inboxes, responding to notifications promptly.
• Maintain vendor accounts, address inquiries, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Track and reconcile payments and expenditures, including invoices, statements, and credit card transactions.
• Assist in system automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Provide support to other departments with ad-hoc requests as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• A college or university degree in business or accounting.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Experience with Yardi or similar systems is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A self-motivated, professional individual with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain productive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with various software.
• A dedicated team player with a positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
