Accounts Payable Manager

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in Dallas, Texas, 75201, United States. The role entails overseeing a team of AP professionals, implementing and maintaining accounts payable policies, and ensuring the efficient processing of invoices. This position is situated in the aviation industry, requiring the successful candidate to manage vendor relationships and assist in various financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of Accounts Payable professionals, including training, hiring, and onboarding.

• Develop and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures.

• Lead the month-end AP closing process.

• Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Process and allocate company credit card and expense reports.

• Maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and reconcile AP accounts.

• Manage relationships with vendors and resolve any payment or invoice disputes.

• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging reports and cash flow projections.

• Handle rebills to various groups of aircraft investors.

• Manage the annual 1099 process and assist with VAT claims related to foreign invoices.

• Actively participate in the management of corporate fixed asset reporting.

• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support. Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance Required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) management.

• Demonstrable knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting.

• Experience in handling Multiple Entities and Global operations Required.

• Proven track record in Process Improvement and Process Implementation.

• Specific industry experience in Aviation would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with High-Volume Invoicing.

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
