Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the retail industry. Based in Southlake, Texas, this role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Create and manage detailed reports on cash collection

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Input customer data into accounting software, specifically MS Dynamics

• Deliver invoices to clients through multiple portals and via email

• Perform reconciliations of the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger to the General Ledger

• Track and report on Purchase Orders

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for the creation of pivot tables and the integration of specific data

• Contribute to a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Flexibility to switch between tasks and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks

• Knowledge of SAP

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Retail industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Adherence to confidentiality and data protection procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
