A prominent seafood company in Seattle is looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join their team on an open-ended, temporary basis. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be essential in managing financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting system.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Duties:
- Prepare and review sales invoices for accuracy and alignment with sales team instructions
- Manage and reconcile documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), inventory data, and invoices
- Oversee monthly closings by reviewing and updating invoices, ensuring proper recording of title transfer dates
- Monitor AR aging reports, apply payments to invoices, and update invoicing information in internal systems
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status and handle special invoicing requests

Accounts Receivable Specialist Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an AR role or similar
- Proficient in financial software applications, including QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing large data sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred
Salary: $27.00 – $31.25 per hour, depending on experience
