OverviewJoin our dynamic Technical Services department as an Apprentice – Administration, where you will play a crucial role in Claims Administration and General Office Administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a supportive and professional environment.
How you’ll make an impact

  • Manage the main GB inbox and handle all postal correspondence efficiently.
  • Coordinate invoicing and payments processes.
  • Submit adjuster reports and maintain a diary for client responses.
  • Ensure that post and emails are allocated to the appropriate claims handlers.
  • Flag any urgent or concerning matters to the Team Leader promptly.
  • Proactively manage incoming correspondence to the office.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including daily opening of post.
  • Copy files for postage to Adjusters and review returned surveys.
  • Contact contract adjusters by telephone to check availability.
  • Reach out to brokers via telephone or email to acquire missing information.
  • Communicate new claims to Coverholders before lodge allocation.
  • Ensure communication lines are allocated appropriately within the office.
  • Allocate correspondence correctly to various claim handlers.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding urgent correspondence.
  • Maintain personal workspace and equipment.
  • Comply with all Gallagher Bassett and office procedures.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as the need arises by Gallagher Bassett.
