An exciting opportunity has become available within Specialised Surgery Directorate. The Plastic Surgery Team are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to work as a Medical Secretary within the Royal Stoke and County Hospital site.Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for the management of your own workload, working closely with other Medical Secretaries, Consultants and the Management Team. The Role will entail answering the phones to patients, checking our shared inbox, confirming surgeries, dealing with post and typing letters.Candidates should posses a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly in an extremely busy environment. You will possess experience of working as a medical secretary demonstrating accuracy and excellent multi-tasking capabilities in all aspects of the workload. You will be required to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your initiative and prioritise your own workload to meet strict deadlines.About usUniversity Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is one of the largest and most modern in the country.
