The After-Hours Desk Operator will be responsible for managing incoming calls, dispatching appropriate response personnel, and performing administrative and security-related tasks during their shift.Successful candidates will be provided with a company laptop and cell phone. This is a remote work position, and candidates will be required to use their own internet connection.Hours of OperationThe After-Hours Desk will operate Monday to Friday from 11pm – 7am, Saturday and Sunday 24hrs, all Statutory Holidays 24hrs.· Monday – Friday shifts will be 8 hours per shift· Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holiday shifts will be scheduled for 12hrs, day shift 7am-7pm, and night shift 7pm – 7amRoles and Responsibilities·Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally·Record detailed reports on the nature of each call·Dispatch the appropriate trades or guard services using the provided call list·Perform shift-related computer tasks, including opening and closing out shifts·Manage security-related tasks, such as deleting access cards and conducting CCTV investigations·Oversee and assist with remote guard tours conducted over the phone·Other duties as requiredRequired Skills and Abilities:·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills·Strong attention to detail and ability to document information accurately·Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with administrative tasks·Ability to remain calm and professional under pressureRequired Experience:·Previous experience in a similar role or with security systems is an asset but not required·Administrative experience would be an asset·High School diploma or equivalentWe firmly believe our employees are our best assets and we are committed to providing ongoing training and support to allow them to reach their full potential.
