Experience within a similar role?Keen to play an important role in AI development at the UK’s leading Conveyancing and Property Services business?We have the job for you!THE JOBReporting into the Data Operations & Strategy Director, the AI Azure Solutions Development Engineer (known internally as a the AI Engineer), sits within Simplify Technology’s Change division, helping to identify, design and deliver AI solutions that aim to:

• Help enable the Simplify vision and ensure its success
• Improve services for the customer
• Improve the quality of outcomes
• Improve business efficiency

KEY TASKS

• Develop internal Chatbot LLMs
• Lead on helping to foster a culture of Innovation in terms of AI technology and automation.
• Support the implementation of our AI Strategy ensuring alignment to the wider Data Strategy.
• Develop Simplify’s AI systems and the AI ecosystem to support the increasingly fast pace of AI development and efficient delivery of AI initiatives.
• Represent AI at the Enterprise Architecture Steering Group ensuring that our architectural decisions align to the Data & AI Strategies.
• Work closely with IT colleagues to integrate AI capabilities with line-of-business systems.
• Proactively research and highlight emerging trends in the AI industry and present any opportunities to key Senior Managers.
• Educate colleagues on the benefits, implications, risks and delivery of AI based solutions.
• Support the development of AI policies to ensure that the technology is utilised in an effective and risk-managed way.
• Develop control and reporting mechanisms to ensure that AI solutions are monitored and continuously improved

REQUIREMENTSAnd now for the nitty gritty:To be considered for this position you will need to have Azure technology stack expertise and demonstrate experience of designing and developing AI solutions within a business environment, with expert level knowledge of AI concepts, practices, technology and applications.You will be able to research in a fast moving, highly complex field, and demonstrable experience of managing Risks and Issues and providing appropriate mitigation and resolution.You will be an excellent communicator, able to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and help deliver against the educational needs if colleagues in this fast-changing environment.The ideal candidate will be both passionate and knowledgable about AI and keen to help us to find and identify opportunities for it to support our business.OUR PEOPLESimplify believes diversity brings benefits for our clients, our business and our people.
