The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding the AI team, ensuring that AI work is aligned strategically with the wider Data Strategy, and exploiting opportunities for AI deployment across the business.You will seek opportunities to utilise AI & Automation and be a champion for the technology across the business.KEY TASKS

• Oversee the development and implementation of AI solutions.
• Ensure alignment of AI projects with the wider Data & Systems strategy.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the AI Operations team.
• Collaborate with the Data Operations & Strategy Director to support the wider Data Strategy Implementation.
• Proactively seek opportunities for AI deployment, such as powerful Data Science applications, Generative AI and other alternatives.
• Foster a common way of working within the AI team and promote a data-driven culture within the organisation.

REQUIREMENTSAnd now for the nitty gritty:At heart, you will be passionate about AI.To be considered for this position you will need to have proven knowledge and experience in AI Operations and management with a strong technical background in AI and Data Analytics, and possess strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.You will be able to boast expertise in AI integration and deployment processes as well as the development and implementation of AI policies and procedures, whilst maintaining an awareness of data privacy regulations, governance and ethics.You will have previously supervised or managed a team in this space, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the business.Azure and SQL expertise, whilst not necessarily deal breakers if all other requirements are soundly met, are nevertheless highly preferred.OUR PEOPLESimplify believes diversity brings benefits for our clients, our business and our people.
