The role of the A&I Intern is to support the local A&I leader in the UK & Ireland (UKI) business unit. This is an amazing opportunity if you are a team player, passionate about business and curious about data.

Important considerations:

  • We are looking for someone to start in September 2024.

  • This is a 12-month, full-time (37.5h/week) internship contract based at our Slough office. Our flexible working model is 3 days office/2 days home (full remote work is not an option).

  • In order to be considered, you need to have the right to work in the UK.

  • This is a paid internship. Salary will be discussed at interview stage.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the reporting and analysis activities of your Business Unit (Consumer Sales, Shares, Shopper KPIs).

  • Own the quality of the consumer sales data and ensure effective and timely data ingestion.

  • Interact with your colleagues across Europe to share & reapply best practices related to the ingestion process and lead improvements of your local processes.

  • Analyse the performance of your Business Unit, recommending actions to accelerate the growth.

  • Improve the accessibility of data across your organisation.

  • Train your stakeholders on reporting capabilities.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Business Administration/ Business Intelligence/ Economics or other relevant fields.

  • You have strong collaboration skills and want to join an international working environment.

  • You are curious about the business, have an affinity for data, and are energised to review the status quo and actively support improvements.

Must have

  • You are a team player and share the belief that teamwork creates best results.

  • You have excellent communication skills together with a strong service mindset.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel skills are a must).

  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Nice to have

  • You have developed Power BI and/or advanced analysis skills.
