Key Responsibilities & Duties These will include, but not be limited to:

• Invoice and receiver matching, quantification and price verification, and invoice preparation for payment sanction o Vendor deposit handling and application

• Investigating and resolving invoice inconsistencies by liaising with the procurement and warehouse team and the vendor

• Aging the payable to maximize purchase discount utilization

• Mailing checks to vendors and maintaining a record of check copies and documentation

• Conducting research and complying with vendor inquiries

• Collection of W-9s from vendors and Annual 1099 preparation

• Placing halt on check payments as and when required

• Routing ACH and check payments on a monthly basis

• Drafting and reviewing aging weekly

• Conducting monthly company & employee account reconciliation

• Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable, vendor deposit accounts, and other accrued liability accounts

• Processing company credit card payments

• Insurance certificates and tax payments

  Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage.
