Thank you for reading our job ad!Today we are looking for a Full Time – Year Round Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Arcadia Grove Apartments located at 1324 Lafayette Ave in Kalamazoo, Michigan. On call rotation is 1 week every 6 weeks to give you a great work life balance!
Full Time – Year Round work. No layoffs and overtime potential available!What we are offering:

• Pay is up to $21.00 hour
• Yearly raises based on performance
• Quarterly maintenance bonus structure, up to $3,000.00 Per Year!
• On-Call Bonus, $100.00 a week when on-call. Min 1.5 hours of pay for any call.
• $50.00 On Call Bonus paid per day for any major holiday worked

What we are looking for:

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Maintaining property grounds
• Preventative maintenance
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
• Assist with on call for snow removal duties

Qualifications:

• 2 + years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent (we can train you!)
• EPA Certification is strongly preferred
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Knowledge of plumbing, sweating copper pipe
• Knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Able to repair and/or diagnose appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposals
