Using industry leading technologies and digital tooling, we provide a fully integrated toolset and enables the rapid deployment of innovation at scale, data analytics and standard methodologies across the global businessAbout the RoleThis position provides effective architectural and structural design guidance for RX Digital Team to make intuitive high level decisions for software development. With a strong technical background, excellent IT skills, experiences in designing and ability to develop a unified vision for software characteristics and functions, creates architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team to develop software or systems that will result in high quality solutions that are compliant, secure and reliable.Responsibilities
- Acting as a conduit between Global Architecture and the Digital Engineering teams and work across/with Architects from different organizations
- Developing, designing, and govern the overall structure, framework, and architecture of software applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth
- Evaluating and select appropriate technologies, tools, frameworks, and methodologies best suited for the software’s development and data management, considering factors such as performance, security, and maintainability.
- Creating comprehensive architectural and data modelling/transportation documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and guidelines, facilitating understanding and implementation for development teams
- Proactively monitor/audit systems and new development to identify gaps or discover subsystems or components that should be evolved into shared infrastructure, or other simplifying opportunities
- Supporting driving technical direction, PoCs, architecture evolution, input into technical roadmaps and alignment to product delivery roadmaps
- Researching industry advancements and building alliances to explore ways to leverage and advance our technical opportunities
Requirements
- Have a decade of Software Engineering experience
- Experience in designing and creating scalable, maintainable, high-performing software architectures for complex applications
- Have excellent Azure/AWS Cloud Experience
- Have an excellent understanding of programming languages, code, and database particularly .NET and Java.
- Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing APIs, understanding RESTful and GraphQL principles, and integrating applications with various external services
and APIs * Have a : deep understanding and application of architectural patterns like MVC,MVVM, Microservices, Serverless, and others * Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform,Ansible).Work in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
