Applications Engineer – Direct HirePut your material handling experience to work in a global company! A provider of material handling solutions is currently hiring an Applications Engineer in North Hiram, GA on a direct hire basis.Salary of the Applications Engineer:
Up to $125K/yrResponsibilities of the Applications Engineer:

• Support the sale of Sorters per Annual Goals
• Support the Sales team for concepts, layouts, cost estimates, quotations, presentations, proposals,
• review of T&Cs, and other activities needed to close orders
• Provide occasional support for rest of “America’s” region (Canada, Mexico and Brazil)
• Interface with the customer to build customer approval layout drawings to meet customer
• requirements
• Identify changes between the initial proposal/PO and approval drawing to capture any change orders
• required.
• Perform system throughput calculations
• Create 3d simplified concept models of chutes designs to be handed off to project engineering for final
• design
• Conduct an engineering kickoff meeting to handover project requirements and completed approval
• drawing to Project Engineering
• Support Project Engineering group throughout the project as needed
• Lead a team of 2-3 other Application Engineers(AE) which focus on other product lines
• Review the work of the other AE’s for completeness and accuracy

Requirements of the Application Engineer:

• Engineering or related degree
• 5 Years of Material Handling Experience, preferred focus in sortation and/or system design
• 2D and 3D modeling experience required. AutoCAD, Inventor, and Emulate 3D however other CAD
• software experience will be considered
