Apprentice – Technical Writer – Developer Documentation

A typical day

• As an Engineering Apprentice at Clover, you will have the opportunity to code, program, test, and analyze application software. Support existing business systems applications or assist in the creation of new applications that benefit our vast client base. You will consult with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions while designing and documenting moderately sophisticated technical requirements for business applications. Additionally, you will assist the team in designing and developing computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user-defined conditions.
• Qualifications:
• Interest in learning and using emerging technologies (Mobile, payments, cloud computing, information security, AI, and converging markets)
• Interest in learning and Understanding of development processes and life cycles preferred (SCRUM/Agile and Waterfall)
• Strong proficiency in Excel skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Consistently demonstrates dedication, reliability and a commitment to deliver results
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team fostering collaboration

You must have

• Either a High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
• This is an an in person role- must have existing commutable residence with expectation to work on-site in the Sunnyvale CA office.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must participate in routine background and clearances

• Preferred Technical Experience/Skills: Server-side language (e.g. Java), Front-end technologies (JavaScript/HTML/CSS), Single Page App framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc), Building REST APIs, Automated testing practices, Cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Snowflake).
• Any of the following technical skills will be a plus: Experience with languages (Python, SQL, etc.) needed for data analytics, data science, and machine learning, Unix-based operating systems, Coding in Python or GoLang, Understanding of APIs and Web Services, Understanding of Network constructs and Network security.

Salary Range

$46,600.00 – $77,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
