Wright Tree Service of CanadaWe are seeking multiple Arborist Labourers to join Wright Tree Service of Canada (Wright Canada Holdings Ltd.) for various locations within Prince Edward Island as integral members of our crew, gaining hands on training experience in the vegetation management industry. We offer:

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Committed to working safely (fit for work), supporting a positive and productive team environment.
• Performs physically demanding manual labour in all weather conditions.
• Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Performs site set-up and take down including unloading and loading equipment; setting up barriers/ warning flags; and keeping the site picked up and orderly.
• Adheres to safety requirements and ensures crew members are working safely.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A High School Diploma or higher.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record, air brakes endorsement a plus.
• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR certificates
• Motivated to work both independently and as a team member and with good time management.
• Ability to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, storm work) and will be subject to call-out work.
• Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.
• Must adhere to the Company’s Drug and Alcohol policy.
