Architectural Technician (CAD)

Architectural CAD Technician required to join a busy company in South Cheshire. This is an incredibly unique opportunity to join a thriving business and take real ownership of your own projects.

This vacancy is unlike any other that you will see in the current jobs market. The business isn’t a traditional Architectural practice, nor is it a developer or housebuilder. They are a specialist construction and manufacturing group with an in-house design team providing a high-end product in their specific sector.

They have many high-level clients including Tier 1 contractors, government bodies and various public sector organisations. Their order book is incredibly busy and based on current projection should keep the design team busy for the coming 18 months as a minimum, with even greater demand projected for the years ahead.

What are we looking for?

An Architectural Technician with strong CAD skills. Someone personable, likeable and has the ability to produce high-quality technical information for use with internal and external teams of consultants. This person should be comfortable working in a Design/Technical studio and also have experience of working on-site and collecting information from surveys, etc. It is also important this person will have sound knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.

Who will be invited for an interview?

• Candidates living in South Cheshire, Staffordshire and the surrounding areas. The exact location of the company can be discussed with Will at Conrad Consulting – initially this role will be full-time office based, but with hybrid working a real possibility further down the line.
• Those from an Architectural Technician background are preferred. Ideally someone with a minimum of 5 years work experience and strong CAD skills.
• Someone with availability to begin work in the coming weeks/months. Ideally the latest we are looking for someone to start is September 2024.

A generous salary can be offered, we will also consider part-time working arrangements if required.
