Salary: £35,000 + BenefitsRobert Half are delighted to be partnering with a leading and growing financial services organisation, who pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment. Their finance team is integral to our success, and we are now looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Bristol-based team.About the Role:As an Assistant Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and be a key part of a small, highly collaborative finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong reconciliation experience, excellent attention to detail, and solid Excel skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Monitor treasury and cash positions
• Support internal and external audits, including statutory financial statements
• Assist with financial reporting and business planning
• Work closely with internal teams and external auditors

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (actively studying preferred)
• Experience in reconciliations – multi-currency/multi-entity exposure is ideal
• Strong Excel skills – pivots, VLOOKUPs (advanced Excel a plus!)
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
