Working in close collaboration with hospitals, insurance providers, provincial and regional health organizations and workers’ compensation boards, Clearpoint delivers high-quality care across Canada meeting the needs of patients, while alleviating capacity pressure on public health systems.Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Assistant Clinical Director, is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and administration at Clearpoint Surgical Toronto-Dixon. The role will provide leadership to the facility Managers, OR Nurse Managers, and Clinical Leads to ensure a high quality of service, operational excellence between the multi-disciplinary departments and exceptional care and results for Clearpoint Health clients. The Assistant Clinical Director is a key pillar to the Clearpoint Health team and effectiveness of our business.Key Responsibilities
- Lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment, which promotes and encourages participation by all staff, at all levels in the planning, organization and delivery of programs and services
- Manage all existing business relationships with its main institutional customers and develop new contacts
- Responsible for Physician recruiting along with the Medical Director, including completion of Physician privilege applications
- Ensure staffing guidelines and ratios in all patient care areas are in accordance with workload, patient acuity and College standards
- Develop and promote a philosophy of continuous quality improvement
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on improving quality and efficiency
- Lead strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and profitability
- Prepare site for Accreditation Canada inspection in 2026
- Facilitate quarterly Quality Committee meetings
- Facilitate quarterly Medical Advisory Committee meetings
- Safeguard confidentiality of patient records, files, and information
- With the facility Managers and OR Nurse Managers organize and promote educational development of staff at all levels
- Assist in the development of new programs and services with the Chief Operations Officer
- Responsible for monthly and annual reporting to the Ministry of Health
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly reports for corporate and Board reporting purposes
- Review Clinical Equipment Evaluation & Existing Clinical Equipment Inventory, Maintenance & Replacement Schedule
- Develop and submit Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) requests
- Oversee the medical and office supply ordering and inventory controls
- Responsible for the accuracy of all revenue billings
- Actively manage the centre’s profitability and present results of monthly P&L vs. budget
- Maintain current knowledge of changes or updates in technology and techniques
Education Requirements:
- Baccalaureate of Nursing and/or Masters in Nursing, Business or other relevant area
- Current Registered Nurse in good standing
- MBA or equivalent business degree
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years working in a perioperative clinical setting, with a demonstrated history of increasing responsibilities and complexity of role
- A minimum 5 years of formal leadership, with a demonstrated ability to lead high performing multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting

- Knowledge of the medical industry’s legal rules, legislation and guidelines
- In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
- Robust negotiating skills
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, current nursing and healthcare practices; demonstrates concern and interest in providing quality care and service
