Assistant Controller

A well-established, family-owned plumbing company in Seattle is looking to add a full-time, direct-hire Assistant Controller to their team. The Assistant Controller will lead the accounting staff and oversee all aspects of accounting.

Assistant Controller Job Duties:

• Produce and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and annual budgets
• Manage AP/AR, collections, and bank reconciliations
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll and new employee onboarding
• Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the accounting department
• Manage the accounting department with a focus on internal customer service and accuracy

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Assistant Controller Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting
• BA in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks
• Familiarity with WIP (Work in Progress)
• Previous management experience

Salary: $110,000 – $125,000/year
