We offer 273 elegant guest rooms and suites; a luxury Spa, an award-winning Steakhouse and an all-day dining restaurant and Bar.What you will doPlan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Food & Beverage Division (including Sidecut Restaurant and Bar, In Room Dining, Pool and/or Banquets, Braidwood Café and other Food & Beverage activation and pop-ups, while ensuring guest satisfaction.Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach staff to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.Visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contactsReports to the Restaurant ManagerSelect, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the F&B Departments to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for F&B outlets.The ability to work closely with F&B leadership to design effective menus and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price.Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.Responsibility with employee scheduling proper and sufficient staffing while keeping labor standardsAssists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas of the Resort.Create and nurture a Great Place to Work for All.Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.What you bringAt least 2 years previous experience in a supervisory or management level position in Food & Beverage.Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detailStrong leadership & organizational skills requiredSuccessful candidates must possess the ability to work in CanadaWhat we offer:Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 annuallyHousing AllowanceWinter Leisure Pass; ski pass or leisure benefitUse of the Fitness FacilityMedical, Dental and Sick leave coverageEmployee Travel Program; complimentary and reduced rates at other Four SeasonExcellent Training and Development opportunitiesComplimentary meal per shift in our employee dining roomEmployee Recognition ProgramsDry Cleaning ServicesSchedule & Hours:As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Please note that due to the large number of responses we receive, only candidates being considered for the above position will be contacted for an interview.Learn more about what it’s like to work for Four Seasons:Learn more about Four Seasons Whistler on Social Media:Instagram: @FSWhistlerTwitter: @FSWhistlerFacebook:We look forward to receiving your application!*Our organization is an equal-opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
