We want someone who lives & breathes sport & football in particular. You will have experience of the broadcast world, can edit using Premiere Pro & will be familiar with the work of live sports coverage.You will be working on a wide variety of content, including (but not limited to) live OBs, cutting match highlights, working on magazine shows, conducting & cutting interviews, longer features & promos. You will be familiar with the world of Social media with an appreciation of this vital component of our coverage.You will play an important role in supporting the distribution of assets for on and off-platform consumption.You will work alongside other APs and Producers to archive material, create interesting short-form content & contribute new ideas. You will also get the opportunity to experience & contribute to the substantial & varied live output produced on-site & from our Leeds Production Hub.You will play a key role in supporting a variety of functions; all crucial to the successful development & improvement of this ground-breaking OTT service as it continues to grow and expand its offering.You will be highly motivated with high editorial standards, a powerful work ethic & a deep knowledge of football & non-league football in particular.You will work on innovative live & non-live content across different platforms as well as other rights.As a valued member of the team, you will be directly involved in the creative process from conceptualisation to execution of everything from long & short-form content, to live matches & other non-live programming.Benefits include access to DAZN, 25 days’ annual leave (increasing by 3 days after 3 years), private medical insurance, life assurance, pension contributions up to 5%, family friendly community including enhanced parental leave, electric vehicle benefit option, free access for you and one other to our workplace mental health platform app (Unmind), learning and development resources, opportunity for flexible working, and access to our internal speaker series and events.As our new Assistant Producer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Prepare, produce & edit content for our live match coverage
• Edit match highlights for on & off-platform consumption
• Work in live TV galleries & OB trucks in a variety of roles including VT coord, Prez, graphics
• Work with Producers & other Assistant Producers to develop & deliver ideas for existing & new projects
• Support producers & editors to deliver VOD content to a high standard
• Assist with archiving of material
• Work to tight deadlines, often under pressure
• Collaborate with a wide spectrum of internal departments

You’ll have:

• Experience of live & non-live football production & broadcasting
• Willingness to travel to sports events as required
• Ideally with experience of VT coordinating, prez & other AP roles
• Track record of producing VOD content
• Ability & willingness to quickly understand & work across a wide variety of sports
• Prepared to work to a flexible schedule that will include early starts, late finishes & weekend shifts as dictated by the sporting calendar
• Knowledge & experience of Adobe editing systems (Premier Pro)
• Hands-on experience of import & export processes, non-linear editing & media management
• Knowledge of National League football & an interest in sports in general
• Driving licence & passport
