Most importantly, Le Wagon is a community of 26,000+ graduates from all walks of life, including career changers, digital nomads and many entrepreneurs – who’ve created 220+ tech startups and raised $1B+ and counting!Your Role: As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the People Operations Manager in managing the day-to-day HR functions and ensuring a seamless employee experience. Your responsibilities will span across various HR administrative and operational domains, including onboarding, employee engagement, payroll support, and HR systems management. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our people operations and contribute to our mission of driving educational innovation.Your Team:Reporting under the Global People Operations Manager, your team members include: Global Talent Acquisition Manager, Internal Communications Manager & Global Head of People.Start date – October/November 2024 , 12 month alternanceYour MissionOnboarding and Coordination:

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Assist in the offboarding process, including exit interviews and the return of company assets such as laptops and company phones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (BambooHR).

HR Administration:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of HR documents, including employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for performance management processes, including performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Track and report on key People metrics and provide insights to present in the people team bi-weekly meetings.

Payroll and Benefits Support:

  • Support your manager in the Global payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits such as healthcare, medical visit and vacation policies.

Employee Engagement and Culture:

  • Support the People team in development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Assist in company events, team-building activities, and other culture-enhancing activities.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Improved completion rate of onboarding tasks within the specified timelines.
  • Track participation rates in employee engagement initiatives (on slack) and in events. Suggest improvements utilising the data gathered.
  • Improve accuracy in HRIS entries and employee records.
  • Monitor and assist in the timeliness of global payroll submissions.

This role is for you if:

  • You are currently an enrolled Master or Bachelor student in Labor Law or HR.
  • You have knowledge on the topic of French labor laws and best practices.
  • You have excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
  • You consider yourself ‘people-centric’ with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • You are fluent in French and speak good english, both written and spoken.
