The team πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘You will be joining the UK Professional Services team which is currently made up of 4 consultants; James, Tash, Sam and Kim with Ella the Team Lead. James is soon leaving the UK team to continue his work for UpSlide in the New York office so we are hiring his replacement and additionally excited to be hiring a new joiner – making us a team of 6! πŸ˜ƒAs a team, we often work closely as advisors for each other on projects and regularly help each other out where possible. We run quarterly retros on our progress as a team (a great space for praise and feedback), have work anniversary lunches, and are known to frequent Dishoom for team breakfasts.You’ll also be part of the wider UK team of about 35 people across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. We have monthly social events ranging from yoga classes to bowling nights. And as a nod to our French roots, every Thursday at 4 p.m., we enjoy β€œgoΓ»ter” (an afternoon snack break) with treats brought in by a different team member each week.Team goals 🎯We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with clear communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a natural curiosity. As an Associate Consultant, you will become an expert in UpSlide and the financial services industry whilst delivering improved workflows and productivity to our clients. You will quickly be onboarded to be autonomous in delivering your own client projects and additionally providing support to Senior Consultants on more complex ones. A big part of your role will be ensuring clients use the tool and set the account up for success – retaining our 98% renewal rate!Delivery

  • Analyse and define customer’s needs and requirements
  • Manage the installation and configuration of UpSlide from scratch on a Microsoft platform
  • Apply good project management practices to ensure projects remain within the timeline and scope
  • Support other team members in the UK or internationally on large/complex projects

Securing Adoption

  • Responsible for onboarding plans for clients of a smaller size
  • Running end-to-end training sessions on the full UpSlide offering
  • Following up with Q&A sessions
  • Creating and presenting Project Impact Reviews

Advisory Services

  • Advise clients and share best practices
  • Work with colleagues to design the solution, if needed, to provide in-depth technical solutions to clients
  • Identify future opportunities within the account and pass the information across to the relevant sales or pre-sales contact within UpSlide

Client Relations

  • Handle client relations through effective communication throughout the project duration
  • Lead requirement gathering scoping meetings

Product Knowledge and Contributions

  • Submit valuable feedback and feature requests
  • Support the product team on client insights where required
  • Create Zendesk articles and videos for the UpSlide user community

Around month 3, you’ll start gaining hands-on experience through smaller, client-facing projects, and you’ll serve as a key support on larger projects alongside a more senior consultant. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a strong foundation of the knowledge you’ll need in your role.
  • Month 6: At this stage, you’ll have most of the knowledge and skills to independently run projects and tackle almost all client questions. While you may still be gaining experience to fully hit your stride, you’ll be well on your way to becoming autonomous in leading projects.
  • Month 9: Equipped with deep knowledge, confidence, and independence, you’ll now be handling projects autonomously and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.
