Our Story

Hello there. We’re Zopa.

We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. A bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance. Our vision for a new era of banking puts people front and centre — we’ve built a business that empowers everyone to aim high, every day, to move finance forward. Find out more about our fantastic offerings at Zopa.com!

We’re incredibly proud of our achievements and none of it would be possible without the amazing team here. It’s not just industry awards we’re winning, we’ve also been named in the top three UK’s Most Loved Workplaces.

If you embrace unconventional challenges, are unafraid to think differently and are driven to make an outsized impact, you’ll thrive here at Zopa, so join us, and make it count. Want to see us in action? Follow us on Instagram @zopalife

The Team:

At Zopa Bank, we’re incredibly ambitious, and as a result, there’s always a lot going on. The purpose of the Delivery function is to ensure that across the organisation, the right people are working on the right things, in the right way, at the right time.

This means we are responsible for coordinating activities across multiple teams, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s governance structure, and taking the lead on landing change inside the business. The Delivery function complements the product and engineering functions, acting as a force multiplier by providing structure, momentum, visibility, and effective communications.

The Role:

This associate-level role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and develop within a dynamic and supportive environment. We’re looking for someone who is eager to build foundational skills and grow their career in delivery management. You will be involved in coordinating activities, supporting adherence to governance processes, and contributing to successful change management within the business. This role is ideal for someone who has a growth mindset and is keen to gain experience in a hands-on, fast-paced setting.

This role will be based 2 days a week in our London Bridge office.

About you:

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
  • A basic understanding or interest in learning about IT Project/Delivery Management.
  • Are focused on active listening and understand the importance of communication skills.
  • Have a proactive bias for action and are eager to learn.
  • Understand and respect the emotions and perspectives of others and the impact of change on people.
  • Are enthusiastic about facilitating meetings and helping steer meeting outcomes.
  • Are resilient and able to maintain focus and composure under pressure.

Added bonus:

  • Experience or internships in a fintech or e-commerce environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Flight Levels, or LeSS.
