This new position will be responsible for the development of the US market access and payer engagement strategies and tactics for our company’s US Pharma Business Unit launch products. Initially, this role will lead work for both the Atherosclerosis and HIV pipelines, collaborating across functions to support successful launches across the portfolio. This role will require robust engagement with key stakeholders including Brand Marketing, Integrated Account Management (IAM), Outcomes Research and Policy to incorporate market/customer insights in the development of payer customer segment execution strategies.Preferred location is hybrid in Upper Gwynedd, PA but remote will be considered if candidate is willing to travel to HQ as needed (up to 25%).Primary Responsibilities Include:Develop customer segment execution strategies and promotional initiatives for US payer customer segments (health plan, PBM, Medicaid, Medicare, federal, pharmacy and hospital) to achieve market access goalsLead coordination and engagement efforts with members of the Integrated Account Management organization, including point team and customer-facing account executives and account directorsPartner with the assigned promotions manager(s) to develop resources and communicationsLead payer segmentation and targeting activities, execution planning, and KPI implementation / monitoringActive participation in the development of value evidence strategiesEnsure optimized channel strategy and appropriate integration with brand strategiesServe as an integral member of the cross functional teams preparing for successful launches with optimal payer and provider experiencesEducation:Required: BA/BS DegreePreferred: MBA, MPH or other advanced degreeRequired Experience and Skills:Minimum of (5) years’ experience in account management, market access, marketing, sales leadership, or consulting in the healthcare industryDemonstrated understanding of the mechanics and economics of the healthcare ecosystem, including influences across various payer segmentsDemonstrated understanding of US healthcare trends and policy issues and their potential impact upon our company’s business opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and provide clear guidance to the customer-facing teamsAbility to learn quickly and to assess a variety of scenarios, strategically and operationallyStrong collaboration, project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize activities and manage deliverables across a portfolio within deadlinesDemonstrated success in establishing, developing and maintaining business relationshipsAbility to translate market trends and customer needs into customer resources or tacticsExcellent leadership and communication skillsPreferred Experience and Skills:Account Management experienceContracting strategy development and/or contract negotiation experienceProduct launch or launch planning experienceKnowledge of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)Marketing and promotions development expertiseNOTICE FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTSIn accordance with all employees subject to this policy are required to have a minimum of twelve (12) months of service in current position prior to applying for open positions.If you have been offered a separation benefits package, but have not yet reached your separation date and are offered a position within the salary and geographical parameters as set forth in the Summary Plan Description (SPD) of your separation package, then you are no longer eligible for your separation benefits package.
