Job Description

Department Overview

As one of the world’s largest investors in real estate, we own and operate iconic properties in the world’s most dynamic markets. Our global portfolio includes office, retail, multifamily, logistics, hospitality, self-storage, triple net lease, manufactured housing and student housing assets on five continents

Working directly with a wide range of real estate portfolio companies controlled by Brookfield including Center Parcs, Canary Wharf, SACO and other European investments held within Brookfield’s opportunistic private equity funds. The role will assist with the strategic decision making, investment activities and reporting activities of real estate companies owned by the BSREP III and BSREP IV series of opportunity funds. Brookfield’s active oversight portfolio companies, specifically in regard to major investment, divestment and financing decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the drafting of lease relevant documents such as addendums, dilapidation agreements, rent review memos etc.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, forecasts, and budget reports for the asset portfolio, analysing operational performance and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Support in the implementation of new processes and workstreams

  • Support in the implementation of H&S and ESG initiatives in line with internal and external requirements

  • Conduct market research to gather data on property trends, competitive analysis, and investment opportunities. Summarize findings and present insights to the asset management team.

  • Support the preparation of regular performance reports for stakeholders, including property performance metrics, occupancy rates, and financial summaries.

  • Collaborate with external property managers and leasing teams to monitor property operations, tenant relations, and maintenance activities. Assist in addressing tenant inquiries and issues as needed.

  • Maintain and update asset management databases, ensuring accurate and timely information is available for decision-making.

  • Assist in the coordination of asset management projects and initiatives, including property improvements, leasing activities, and capital expenditures.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.

  • Preparing marketing materials for both internal and external use (co-investor reporting packages, quarterly reporting, investor day presentations, etc.).

  • Assisting in the preparation and review of internal fund reporting.

  • Attend and participate in quarterly board meetings for the companies, helping in preparation of materials where required.

  • Supporting investment teams on all aspects of transaction due diligence

  • Maintaining industry data / summarizing publicly available information on a regular basis

Technical Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in asset management, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. RICS or looking to qualify

  • Strong UK real estate market knowledge, including asset classes, investment strategies, and property management practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Fluency in English and another European language, preferably: German, Spanish and French

  • Team player, passionate about career in real estate investment

  • Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
