The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025, or shortly thereafter.The successful candidate’s field of study should complement the and teaching specialties of the Faculty of Law. We seek candidates with an expertise in Law, AI and Technology, including robotics, regulation of AI and emerging technologies, cybersecurity, and data privacy. We encourage diverse and interdisciplinary approaches to law. The successful candidate will be considered for a Faculty Named Chair.Candidates must hold a J.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants with a doctoral degree are preferred. Applicants must demonstrate an exceptional record of excellence in research and teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to sustain and lead innovative and independent research at the highest international level and to maintain an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program.Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence, which can be demonstrated by sustained contributions and a record of publications in top-ranked internationally recognized and field-relevant journals, the submitted research statement, presentations at significant conferences, distinguished awards and accolades, other noteworthy activities that contribute to the visibility and prominence of the discipline, and strong endorsements from referees of high standing.Evidence of excellence in teaching may be demonstrated by an established record of strong teaching, teaching accomplishments, and the teaching dossier, including a teaching statement, sample course materials, and teaching evaluations, as well as strong endorsements by referees.
