Full-Time Associate Veterinarian – Urgently Hiring + Great Salary – Jericho, NYA partner hospital in Jericho, NY is seeking a dedicated, full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its compassionate and dynamic team. Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian or a recent graduate, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on animal health in the community.Role Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to companion animals in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. The position offers the opportunity to perform a variety of duties, including diagnostic work, surgery, preventative care, and client education. This role will focus on delivering excellent veterinary care and promoting the health and well-being of pets while working closely with a dedicated clinical team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the health of animals.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries in companion animals.
  • Administer preventive care such as vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness exams.
  • Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia with an emphasis on patient safety.
  • Educate clients on their pets’ health, treatment options, and preventative measures.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications:

  • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in New York (or the ability to obtain).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a veterinarian, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.
  • Compassionate approach to animal care with a focus on client education and patient well-being.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
