AJ Chambers are partnered with a market leading Accountancy Practice in London who are hiring for an Audit Senior to join their growing firm. The Audit Senior will mainly report to an Audit Manager, with occasional reporting to an Audit Partner. You’ll manage various client assignments, including audits, account preparation, and management accounts.Key Responsibilities:

• Extract trial balances using Sage, Xero, or similar software, and prepare draft accounts.
• Ensure accounts adhere to accounting standards, updating disclosures as necessary.
• Perform audit risk analysis, conduct analytical procedures, and plan audit tests.
• Coordinate audit tasks within the team and document all findings and conclusions.
• Prepare summaries, highlight key issues, and draft management letters.
• Research and resolve accounting or tax issues as they emerge.
• Review accounts for accuracy, compliance, and prepare tax computations.
• Work closely with clients to address queries and complete accounts.
• Success in this role demands precision, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication with both clients and colleagues.
