A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. The Role

The role of the Automation Project Manager is to plan, document, execute and finalise multiple client digital automation and addressable content campaigns according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes in house and offshore briefing and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan.

In addition to this a Automation Project Manager will need to become self-sufficient and must possess a solid understanding of both the Project Lifecycle and Project Management best practices, as well as the principles of automation and how this can be applied to the production process.

The successful candidate will need to work closely with all digital departments within the practice, but particularly those using automated production or addressable content. This means that they will need to be able to communicate intelligently and effectively with Creative, Development Teams, Account Management and Senior Leaders. As such, must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as experience of digital campaign project deliveries and must be able to hit the ground running.

Role Responsibilities

  • Welcome experience working with Adobe Suite Tools, particularly AE/PSD, but not mandatory
  • Be an internal source of technical expertise in the digital campaign field and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries
  • Emphasis on learning project management techniques and best practices, with an automated focus
  • Initiating projects including scope, budget and schedule
  • Project execution including scope change, briefing and progress tracking
  • Project wash-up documentation
  • Attend internal meetings as a representative of the Digital production team as and when required
  • Ensure you have considerable experience delivering digital campaigns from start to finish.

Requirements:

All Automation Project Managers must have proven experience of the following competencies:

  • Scope Management: The ability to control the work included in a project, ensuring that all the work that has been scoped and budgeted can be delivered
  • Time Management: The ability to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Resource Management: The ability to manage project teams; this includes aligning on project objectives and goals, defining roles in the project and assigning project team members to those roles
  • Communications Management: The ability to link people (including team members and stakeholders), ideas, and information throughout a project life cycle
  • Risk Management: The ability to identify, analyse, and properly respond to project risks (opportunities and threats)
  • Eagerness to Learn: The desire and ability to learn new skills and to develop one’s personal knowledge of Digital and Print Project Management
  • Administration: The ability to set meeting agenda’s and take comprehensive minutes. Also, the ability to track and manage actions
  • Project Management Experience, particularly within the digital space
  • Experience of working in (preferably large) digital agencies on large global accounts
  • Demonstrable experience in managing the production and distribution of digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of Ad Platforms (Experience with Celtra, Mediamind and DoubleClick), Execution Lists/Media Plans and the overall Ad Tech infrastructure
  • Delivery Experience for the following types of projects: Banners, Social Assets, Video Assets
  • Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must
  • Test Management & Execution – Understanding of QA practices
