Job Description:FLINT is hiring experienced by-hand B-Pressure welders to join our dynamic team!As a B-Pressure welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks according to industry standards and regulations. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects.This is a temporary role based in Sherwood Park, AB. The role has a compressed workweek schedule of four days, Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts. We encourage you to apply if you have a Journeyperson Welder Ticket and a current B-Pressure Certificate.What would you be doing?

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Recognize defective welds and know the defective area’s cause and repair procedure.
• Fuse metals safely and effectively using prescribed welding applications.
• Perform tasks according to industry quality and production standards.

Does this sound like you?

• Have your Journeyperson Welder and B-Pressure certificates, as well as CSTS-20.
• Know and understand metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filler roads.
• Have expertise and comprehension of the welding equipment involved in various procedures.
• Possess physical strength, stamina, and proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to manage heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Are adaptable and able to work in a team environment.
• Have safety as a top priority.
• Able to read and understand complex instructions.
