The Opportunity

X-Rite is a world-leading colour management and measurement specialist, providing innovative SaaS, software, hardware and services that help companies in every industry where colour matters.

Based remotely in the UK, the Inside Sales Specialist engages with new and existing customers (mostly UK and some in Nordics) via phone and email to qualify warm inbound/outbound leads into an opportunity pipeline.

You’ll uncover customer needs, provide quotations, cross-sell, up-sell and position appropriate solutions to achieve sales goals. Smaller deals are closed directly, whilst others may involve collaboration with field sales.

The Inside Sales Specialist will also be involved in strategic territory and account planning, collaborate with marketing, coordinate activities in SFDC, provide daily support of X-Rite chat and sales inquiries hotline, and prepare and present a weekly sales funnel review.

Whilst remotely based, there will be occasional F2F customer visits (initially 2 joint visits per month in year 1, then 6-8 in total across year 2 etc), plus 1-2 UK team meetings in Manchester annually and 1-2 Europe team meetings (usually somewhere sunny!).

The Ideal Candidate

  • B2B sales experience (ideally technical devices, capital equipment, software, SaaS etc)

  • High degree of motivation, goal driven, self-starter, sales flair, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with a result driven approach

  • Customer focused with excellent communication, teamworking and planning & organizing skills

  • Proficient user of IT, including CRM databases (i.e., SalesForce.com)

  • Driving licence and ideally reasonable access to an airport (Central Midlands/North England base is optimal)
