And we are One Driving Force.Plasman, Tecumseh Manufacturing, 418 Silvercreek Industrial Drive, Tecumseh ON, N8N 4Y3 is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:Backup Forklift Driver/Production AssociateJoin our team as a Backup Forklift Driver/Production Associate and play a crucial role in our daily operations! We’re looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals with experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment. When not operating the lift truck, you will serve as an associate on the production line.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Transport and distribute racks for production in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure materials, components, and packaging are transported to production areas according to schedule and requirements.
• Pull and distribute re-worked parts to designated load areas as needed.
• Maintain FIFO standards by ensuring raw parts are pulled and distributed in the order they were received.
• Distribute finished goods to shipping areas according to shipping requirements.
• If not utilized as a driver, be prepared to work on the production line to support operational needs.
• Perform all other duties as required by the shift Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a lift truck driver
• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid lift truck license is an asset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days and afternoons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must have reliable transportation, as this location is not serviced by public transportation routes.
