THE TEAMUnder Group Technology Operation, Services Distributed Products, The “Backup” product aims at delivering best in class Backup capabilities ( Day to day backup, 2nd immutability, DR, Massive Restoration for servers scope ) for AXA GO and the entities.As a member of this team you are responsible for the engineering and the operations of new solutions regarding Backup Technologies and its ecosystem, working in a global mindset with all the regions.As part of its new Cloud Transformation program (ATLAS), AXA GO has decided with the AXA entities to modernize the remaining footprint hosted in the regional datacenters, to be able to support the workloads that are not eligible to the Public CloudIn order to support faster Time to Market, help govern the Backup product exploitation, foster sustained security and compliance and optimization of consumption, the Backup team has opened a global Backup Product Manager position.MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIESAs a Backup Product Owner, you would be promoting the Backup product usage within AXA.You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders within AXA Group and AXA Entities:

  • Distributed teams
  • Network and Security & CyberDefense teams
  • Cloud Brokers
  • Hosting Teams (AWS, Azure, VMWare)

Main objectives will be met if:

  • Manage the Product:
  • team members in charge of L3
  • key Projects (migration)
  • Finance
  • Quality of Services
  • Manage Services- in charge of L1/L2
  • Entities/Clients relationship
  • Manage the career and trainings path evolution of direct collaborators (internals)
  • Hire and manage external contractors
  • Manage the relationship and challenge the Manage Services in charge of L1/L2 tasks
  • Coordinate and consolidate needs from Backup
  • Prioritizes product backlogs based on entity needs
  • Drives the community around Backup usage and adoption
  • Promoter / evangelist of the product at global level
  • Work with the technical teams to build a roadmap around Backup product at AXA
  • Work on standardization and globalization of process

QualificationsFollowing knowledge and experience areas are mandatory:

  • Background working on/with application development teams on infrastructure as code
  • Good overall knowledge of on-premises and cloud storage
  • Understand key IT drivers and strategy around AXA infrastructure usage
  • Audit and security skills.
  • Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter infrastructure architectures
  • Good understanding of Cloud.
  • Proven organization skills to manage multiple key stakeholders and providers
  • Results oriented and methodical
  • Proven experience on Backup
  • Ability to write HLD/LLD
  • Team leader

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an asset:

  • Commvault & IBM experience
  • Understand IT application architecture

PROFILE :

  • At least 4 years of experience in IT people management or project management
  • Agile methodologies
  • Ability to organize and plan events with key stakeholders
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work in an international context, with remote teams, in a matrix organization
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, as well as independently
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Commitment for occasional international travels (Europe, US & Asia) to support new projects
